Sheriff Jeffrey Brown Sheriff Jeffrey J. Brown has been a law enforcement officer for over twenty two years. His assignments have included patrol, criminal investigations and undercover narcotics operations. He was elected to his current position in 1994 and continues to serve the office of sheriff. Mr. Brown serves the military in a reserve capacity. He has specialized in protective services operations protecting top military official from the Pentagon. He has also served as security advisor to many top foreign military officials and dignitaries. Mr. Brown is also an instructor teaching protective services operations to personnel assigned to protect our nation’s assets. Mr. Brown has been trained as a firearms instructor through the Federal Law Enforcement Training Center and is a certified driving instructor.
